Who is Veronica...
❈ About Me ❈
Veronica Ogbe has held positions as a reporter, multimedia journalist, anchor, a sports reporter, and digital reporter and producer while she attended the University of Georgia.
She also had the opportunity to write for UGA's Her Campus and a cultural magazine known as Infusion. She spent most of her time at The Red & Black, the third nationally ranked student newspaper, and took on being a videographer and the video editor.
During her senior year, she added being UGA's NABJ president to her responsibilities.
Veronica earned a B.A. in journalism, with a concentration in broadcast, and double minored in communication and women studies.
Veronica spent most of her time contributing to the UGA community and the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Some of her favorite accomplishments include: creating a news package with footage top news organizations in Atlanta were unable to get access to, interviewing one of the first African American students to attend the university and also majored in Journalism and worked for CNN, interviewing the only UGA student that survived a fatal car crash in 2016, and interviewing a 12-year-old who started his own ice cream business.
But with the hundreds of stories that she did, she loved covering each and every one of them. She is passionate about unique individuals, community, and pop culture from across the globe.
Even though she has spent most of her time creating stories in Georgia, you can find her constantly wanting to travel and cover news all across the world. When she's not covering a story, you can find her trying new food and beverages with her friends, cheering on the Dawgs, or at the gym.
No matter what she's doing, Veronica is always on the go and loves to keep moving.
